At Sunrise, our teachers are always bright and cheerful
Our teachers at Sunrise Kids International School can't wait to meet you!
Hello. My name is Atsumi. I'm happy to be a part of Sunrise. I have loved English since I was a child, so I went to New Zealand and the United States to study English.
While living abroad, I had the pleasure of meeting people from different countries and having conversations in English. During my six years in Michigan, I studied in the childcare department of a college, became certified as a local nursery teacher and kindergarten teacher, and worked at a local kindergarten for three years. During this time, I also experienced childbirth and child rearing, and felt the need to learn English for daily life, which was not taught in school. After returning to Japan, I worked as a homeroom teacher at a licensed nursery school from 0 to 5 years old, gaining experience in childcare. Using this experience, I would like to take good care of your child at Sunrise, trying to provide careful care in English, and to make Sunrise a warm place like home.

Hello. I’m Mikiko Kawaguchi.
I’m happy to be a member of Sunrise Kids International School. I like English since I was a student. I stayed in Auckland, New Zealand for working holiday. While I was stayed in New Zealand, I was a local nursery volunteer and it was a great asset to me to be involved with many children. I got a lot of learning and joy from children when working as a clerk for a year. I will do my best for supporting children so that they can have a happy day at Sunrise Kids International.

Hello! I am happy to be part of Sunrise Kids.
I have worked at a Japanese preschool for 7 years. I have been interested in overseas for some time, so I stayed for a year in Australia for working holiday.

I hope enjoy helping children grow up and I always have a great time with them at Sunrise.

Hello everyone! My name is Danielle and I’m from Oregon, USA. I am half-Japanese but I lived most of my life in the US so I consider my mother tongue to be English! However, I can understand most Japanese, so it’s okay to speak with me in Japanese. On my free time, I enjoy cooking, art and DIY, traveling, and watching movies. I also enjoy watching sports as I used to play soccer throughout school! I’ve been working as an English teacher in Japan for almost three years now and I’m really excited to join Sunrise Kids International School! Thank you everyone. danielle
