Ms. Atsumi (School Manager)
Hello. My name is Atsumi. I'm happy to be a part of Sunrise. I have loved English since I was a child, so I went to New Zealand and the United States to study English.
While living abroad, I had the pleasure of meeting people from different countries and having conversations in English.
During my six years in Michigan, I studied in the childcare department of a college, became certified as a local nursery teacher and kindergarten teacher, and worked at a local kindergarten for three years.
During this time, I also experienced childbirth and child rearing, and felt the need to learn English for daily life, which was not taught in school. After returning to Japan, I worked as a homeroom teacher at a licensed nursery school from 0 to 5 years old, gaining experience in childcare. Using this experience, I would like to take good care of your child at Sunrise, trying to provide careful care in English, and to make Sunrise a warm place like home.

Ms. Eriko
Hello, everyone.
My name is Eriko Suzuki.
I’m very pleased to be with wonderful kids at Sunrise Kids International Scool.
I’ve taught English to children ages 6 to 15 for many years.
I also have experience in teaching English at elementary school.
It has been so interesting for me to interact with kids.
My family lived in America for my husband’s job for 4 years.
During the stay, my sons went to a local nursery schiool and kindergarten, and my third son was born there.
I became more interested in childcare through raising my boys in America because there were many new things to learn as a mother.
Every child grows and develops differently, doing things at their own pace, but they keep growing.
I’m very happy to see their growth on a daily basis.
I’d like to do my best to be a good supporter of each child.
Thank you.

Ms. Yukie
Hello! My name is Yukie.
When I was 15 years old, I took a homestay program in Los Angeles, USA.
Since then I've been interested in English, so I studied international relations at university.
At university, I took most of my classes in English, and especially learned about the importance of bilingual education/cross-cultural understanding in early childhood. Also, when I was a university student, I lived in a dormitory only for international students as a resident advisor for four years.
There I learned not only English but also cross-cultural understanding.
I look forward to helping your children feel safe and have fun.
Ms. Kyoko

Hello, everyone. My name is Yuka.
I'm really happy to be a member of Sunrise!
After I worked at a nursery school in Japan for several years, I went to Australia to study English. I got a job at a local day care and also worked as a babysitter there.
During the stay, I had a lot of opportunities to interact with many people from different countries and I was able to broaden my perspective.
I'd like to support each child by respecting their individualities because they have their own likes and desires.

Ms. Danielle
Hello everyone! My name is Danielle and I’m from Oregon, USA. I am half-Japanese but I lived most of my life in the US so I consider my mother tongue to be English! However, I can understand most Japanese, so it’s okay to speak with me in Japanese. On my free time, I enjoy cooking, art and DIY, traveling, and watching movies. I also enjoy watching sports as I used to play soccer throughout school!
I’ve been working as an English teacher in Japan for almost three years now and I’m really excited to join Sunrise Kids International School! Thank you everyone. danielle

I like English and I went to English conversation school for about 7 years.
I’ve taken Eiken and TOEIC exams and I plan to take them again in the future.

It was a very exiting experience to communicate with local people.
I’m looking forward to spending time with everyone at Sunrise.
Ms. Masami
I make school lunches that the children look forward to every day.
I make sure that the cooking method, ingredients, and seasoning are suitable for the children's growth and that they are easy to eat.
I am very happy to see the children eating the school lunches I make with smiles on their faces.
