Our teachers at Sunrise Kids International School can't wait to meet you!
Hello. My name is Atsumi. I'm happy to be a part of Sunrise. I have loved English since I was a child, so I went to New Zealand and the United States to study English.
While living abroad, I had the pleasure of meeting people from different countries and having conversations in English. During my six years in Michigan, I studied in the childcare department of a college, became certified as a local nursery teacher and kindergarten teacher, and worked at a local kindergarten for three years. During this time, I also experienced childbirth and child rearing, and felt the need to learn English for daily life, which was not taught in school. After returning to Japan, I worked as a homeroom teacher at a licensed nursery school from 0 to 5 years old, gaining experience in childcare. Using this experience, I would like to take good care of your child at Sunrise, trying to provide careful care in English, and to make Sunrise a warm place like home.

Hello! I am happy to be a part of Sunrise Kids.
I went to New Zealand for a year to go to language school and improved my English. After graduate, I went to university to be a preschool teacher and joined internship for 2 weeks in Melbourne. I found children looks fun and feel comfortable, and teachers looks unstructured. I felt it is wonderful childcare. I have experience as a ground staff in a airport and preschool teacher for a year.
I would like to enjoy everyday and support their growth.

My name is Eriko Suzuki. I’m very pleased to be with wonderful kids at Sunrise Kids International Scool.
I’ve taught English to children ages 6 to 15 for many years.
I also have experience in teaching English at elementary school.
It has been so interesting for me to interact with kids.
My family lived in America for my husband’s job for 4 years.
During the stay, my sons went to a local nursery schiool and kindergarten, and my third son was born there.
I became more interested in childcare through raising my boys in America because there were many new things to learn as a mother. Every child grows and develops differently, doing things at their own pace, but they keep growing. I’m very happy to see their growth on a daily basis. I’d like to do my best to be a good supporter of each child. Thank you.

Hello! I am happy to be part of Sunrise Kids.
I have worked at a Japanese preschool for 7 years. I have been interested in overseas for some time, so I stayed for a year in Australia for working holiday.
I volunteered in a local preschool and I worked as a babysitter during my stay there, and I was able to know the joy of childcare that is different from Japan.

I make school lunches that the children look forward to every day.
I make sure that the cooking method, ingredients, and seasoning are suitable for the children's growth and that they are easy to eat.
I am very happy to see the children eating the school lunches I make with smiles on their faces.
Hello everyone! My name is Danielle and I’m from Oregon, USA. I am half-Japanese but I lived most of my life in the US so I consider my mother tongue to be English! However, I can understand most Japanese, so it’s okay to speak with me in Japanese. On my free time, I enjoy cooking, art and DIY, traveling, and watching movies. I also enjoy watching sports as I used to play soccer throughout school! I’ve been working as an English teacher in Japan for almost three years now and I’m really excited to join Sunrise Kids International School! Thank you everyone. danielle
Hello. My name is Elena. I'm from Russia. Our country is famous for very strong and hardy people. When I was 2 years old, I started learning English with my father. Then I continued my studies at school and institute. Since the age of 21, I have traveled a lot abroad, communicating with native speakers and gaining experience in communicating in English. In Japan, for some time I worked in an English educational center for children from 1 year old. I taught them English in a playful way, using music, dancing, gestures, various games. I really love children and they love me. I will try to treat each child very responsibly and with soul, teaching them and taking care of them.
